Here is an entry-level Aglianico from Feudi di San Gregorio, one of Campania's most prolific producers. The 2015 Irpinia Aglianico Rubrato offers an exciting and exuberant bouquet with dark fruit, pressed cherry and crème de cassis. The finish is tight and acidic with sour cherry flavors and wild blueberry. This is a great pasta wine for weeknights at home with the family.
