Wine Advocate Robert Parker 2013 (87-88 Punkte) JG 2012
I tend to like the Merlot cuvee better, although the 2012 Merlot du Clos des Moiselles is extremely close in quality to the Cabernet Sauvignon offering at this stage of their evolution. Both wines achieved 13% natural alcohol, and the Merlot yields were slightly lower than the Cabernet Sauvignon's. The Merlot appears to have a touch more texture and more aromatic uplift although both wines are fresh, medium-bodied and fruit-driven (as one would expect for tank-fermented and aged wines). Frankly, Bordeaux needs more cuvees such as this to win the hearts and minds of consumers looking for great value. Both should be drunk during their first 1-2 years of life.

Another wine with forest floor, mushrooms that change to dark fruits. Full body, with velvety tannins and a juicy finish. A little stewed now, but outstanding. Better in 2016.
